SSADH Presented at AES
The American Epilepsy Society (AES) annual meeting for 2023 was held in Orlando, Florida from December 1-5, 2023. The event took place at the Orange County Convention Center bringing together healthcare providers, scientists, advocates, industry, and other professionals dedicated to better outcomes for people with epilepsy.
Dr. Lee presented the attached poster giving an update on the status of the Gene Replacement Therapy project that he is currently working on with the SSADH mouse model.
Dr. Lee’s hard work has earned him a favorable grant score to receive an Innovation Grants to Nurture Initial Translational Efforts (IGNITE) from the NIH.
Dr. Lee and Rotenberg have teamed up with key stakeholders in the gene therapy space, to move our project forward.
We are grateful to Dr. Lee and Rotenberg for their hard work and the outstanding progress that they have made in a short period of time as they continue to work towards the next steps in bench-to-beside translation for SSADH patients.
